The new Balfegó & Balfegó complex, located in L'Ametlla de Mar (Tarragona), has established itself as the most advanced bluefin tuna processing plant in the world.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the center automates processes, optimizes operational efficiency, and guarantees the highest quality standards in the final product.

In this ambitious project, Tané Hermetic was responsible for the supply and installation of its most technical doors, specifically designed for environments requiring high levels of hygiene, energy efficiency, and safety, as required by the fishing industry.

Tané's participation included refrigerated doors, freezer and deep-freezer doors, cold-storage fire rated doors, standard fire rated doors, and hermetic doors, installed in critical areas such as cutting rooms, freezing areas, logistics spaces, and technical areas.

These solutions provide added value in terms of energy efficiency, durability, and sustainability.

The collaboration has allowed for the integration of systems that contribute to the complex's sustainability, aligned with BREEAM standards and the B Corp certification that Balfegó has adopted as part of its environmental commitment.
